GAS DETECTOR
Remotely Detect and Measure Methane Gas Using a Drone - The DJI U10 is a lightweight, high-sensitivity drone-based gas detector based on Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy (TDLAS). This enables rapid identification of methane gas (CH4) from up to 328 feet (100 m) away with a 25 ms response time, or at a concentration as low as 5ppm.m. The U10 is suitable for monitoring usage and leaks in natural gas plants, gas storage tanks, and gas pipelines, especially in obstructed or hard-to-reach areas such as mountains or bodies of water. Powered by DJI SkyPort, the U10 can be seamlessly integrated with DJI Matrice 200 Series V1 and V2 platforms.
The visual system features a 720p camera with a wide 12mm lens that is controlled using the DJI Alpha ONE iOS app. You can set levels and alarms using the app which also reports gas concentration, a map with flight path data, inspection route recording, obstacle avoidance information, and report generation.
Key Features of the DJI U10 Methane Gas Detector:
-
Detect methane gas (CH4) up to 328' away from a UAV using laser absorption spectroscopy
-
Receive concentration data in just 25ms, so you can make decisions quickly
-
Connects to Skyport on DJI Matrice 200 Series V1 and V2 drones
-
High sensitivity allows detection at concentrations as low as 5ppm.m
-
Gain an aerial overview of suspected leakages through the 720p visual camera
-
1/2.8" Sensor, 12mm Lens
-
Alpha ONE iOS app enables users to plan flight missions, view flight paths, monitor gas concentration levels and get historical trends in real-time, as well as flag abnormalities along the route and generate inspection reports
